Stage Plan

The whole stage in one picture, drawn from the audience's seat — so LEFT on this drawing is what the audience sees on their left. Colours match the book: youth choir orchestra production.

🪑 Seat by seat, stand by stand — drawn to scale

Every player from the stage-door sign-in sheet, placed by standard orchestral seating (violins 1 house-left with Monica as concert master beside the podium, violins 2 behind, violas centre, celli house-right, bass behind them; woodwind rows centre; brass across the back; percussion rear house-left). String desks share one stand per pair; winds and brass one stand each — the venue supplies the stands. Indicative desks within each section — section leaders and Matt (choir voicing) confirm at the 2pm walk-through.

🥁 Percussion per Natalia's list to Steven M. (24 Aug): timpani ×4, bass drum, tom-tom, clash + suspended cymbals, mark tree, drum kit (delivered separately, played by Curtis), bongos (guest, Hallelu Yah), Taiko→djembe and Surdo→floor-tom substitutions, crotale effect on glockenspiel, AChA's xylophone/snare/triangle/tambourine; tubular bells still being sourced (fallback: glockenspiel). Risers: two tiers of 15 (venue email, 20 Aug). Stage: max 14 m × 10 m per The Concourse's own Theatre page (verified 28 Aug); the proscenium opening is narrower and unpublished, so outer wing seats may pull in — final edges chalked at the 9am bump-in.

Drawn from the audience's seat. The dashed purple line is the scrim — a see-through curtain that flies in and out all night; everything above the scrim line on the seat-by-seat drawing sits behind it. TAB 1 / TAB 2 / TAB 3 are the wing entrances on both sides, numbered from the front: TAB 1 is the only one in front of the scrim, and anyone on a radio mic (A, B or C on the apron) always comes and goes through TAB 1. The percussion corner, piano and podium never move.

Current as of Friday 28 August — drawn from the stage-management book.
